VACANCY: AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION OFFICER
Location: Nkhotakota, Malawi

Njira Impact is a Malawian-led NGO working to improve health and livelihoods in rural communities. We are hiring an Agriculture Production Officer to support agricultural production and manage our agriculture-related enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement agricultural production from cultivation to marketing.
- Manage operations of Linga Rice Company (processing, packaging, certification).
- Provide technical training to farmers and strengthen value chains.
- Build partnerships with farmers, cooperatives, and stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets and ensure sustainability of practices.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Natural Resources, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in agriculture, resilience, or livelihoods.
- Strong knowledge of value chains and project management.
- Experience working with government partners is an added advantage.
- Motorcycle licence holders will have an added advantage.
